31 Days to Building a Better Blog (Day 1) Elevator Pitch Part 1

During the next thirty-one days I will be taking the opportunity to improve my blogging skills. The first assignment I received was on developing an elevator pitch for our website. This elevator pitch is designed to give direction to the items being posted on this site.

You might be asking what I am meaning by an elevator pitch about now.

“An elevator pitch is an overview of an idea for a product, service, or project. The name reflects the fact that an elevator pitch can be delivered in the time span of an elevator ride (for example, thirty seconds or 100–150 words).” —Wikipedia

In other words it is a way of making a clear concise statement about what you intend to do and how you intend to do it. For this site I have written the following short elevator pitch as a starting point. The long pitch will follow. I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.

“making disciples that make disciplemakers that multiply churches for God’s glory”

  1. I love your elevator pitch. Even though it is short and concise, I can truly see your heart in it.

May God bless you through this process, and may you look back in a year’s time and realise that all your dreams/prayers have been answered.

    • Thank you. I appreciate your encouragement and your prayers.
