We are His children – Deeply Delighting in our Relationship with Him! We are His children, brought together in the divine story to share our lives together. We are a team, committed to the seamless integration of God’s bigger story, our role in it and our daily lives. We are on a journey into fullness in Christ and a deeper expression of His love in our midst and spheres of influence. We live with a Kingdom consciousness.

But we come from God and belong to God. 1 John 4:6 (THE MESSAGE)
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, Gal 3:26 (NIV)
When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God Almighty. Jer 15:16 (NIV)

We are a family – Sons and Daughters of the King We are His family, the delight of the Lord. He always intended to have His children around Him in loving, intimate relationship. We see ourselves living out of our relationship with the Father and each other toward the desire of His heart to see a “family”, His Family living together in His Presence. We believe that love will be the catalyst to see healthy reproducing “families of Jesus”. We are husbands and wives, brothers and sisters who walk in community together, a community that embodies Jesus.

This is the family tree of the human race: When God created the human race, he made it godlike, with a nature akin to God. Gen 5:1 (THE MESSAGE)

“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Cor 6:18 (NIV)

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. Eph 3:14-15 (NIV)
For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation. Ps 149:4 (NIV)

We are friends – Kingdom allies living daily in His presence with each other We are friends of the Master and friends with each other. We live in relationship with God and each other. This is the call of our Master, to love the Father and love each other. We want to live daily in the presence of Christ. It is an intentional choice. Intimacy describes our goal for our daily relationship with Jesus and each other. We want to fall in love with the Father and let that love overflow onto those in our sphere of influence.

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matt 22:37-40 (NIV)

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:15

We are followers – Pursuers of the Divine Creator and His Holy Spirit We are on a journey into a fuller expression of life lived out in the presence of the King. It is a journey into a simple life in Christ. It is about the natural life in Christ who leads us daily by His example. It is His Holy Spirit who speaks to us and prompts us forward. He will make sure we won’t miss our mission or purpose as we live out our lives listening to Him.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:25-26 (NIV)

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. John 10:27-28 (NIV)

So Jesus explained himself at length. “I’m telling you this straight. The Son can’t independently do a thing, only what he sees the Father doing. What the Father does, the Son does. The Father loves the Son and includes him in everything he is doing. John 5:19-20 (THE MESSAGE)

We are free – We have chosen to be bound to God and not the traditions of men “The free man chooses his captivity.” We honor and respect all men but our allegiance is to Jesus! We seek to listen and follow Him and Him alone. Our desire is to live in the power and authority of sons and daughters of the King.
But thank God you’ve started listening to a new master, one whose commands set you free to live openly in his freedom! Rom 6:17-18 (THE MESSAGE)

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me — watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matt 11:28-30 (THE MESSAGE)
